The mission of The Huffer Foundation is to assist nonprofit organizations by funding projects and programs that benefit communities.

The James E. and Betty J. Huffer Foundation supports humanitarian work that promotes educational endeavors, the arts, music, cultural enrichment, health sciences, and environmental stewardship. Learn more about our founders.

The Huffer Foundation is currently only accepting proposals from organizations with a strategic focus in the Southeast United States, including Georgia, Florida, and Southern Appalachian regions. 

We believe in using a multidisciplinary approach to satisfy our mission. Our goal is to directly support to those with a clear and proven commitment to bettering their local communities. The foundation will primarily support organizations serving their local and regional communities with a demonstrated and measurable history of impactful service.
